I'm working with functions and graphs. What are the values Xmin, Ymin, Xmax, Ymax, Xscl, Yscl, how do I find them in a graph?

those are just the window settings for the graphing calculator you're using....

since you mentioned a parabola, you'd like to see the interesting part of the graph... so you'll need to find the vertex and set that to be the center of your window.
