simplify x^2+9x+20. Is the answer the same as the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It can be factored into (x+4)(x+5), but I'm not sure which is simpler.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would guess the answer is the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! That is what I kept coming up with.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

actually @bazinga276 you're right with the factored form. "answer same as question" means the expression is prime. but this isnt prime so (x+5)(x+4) is right

Thank you!
