Just use excel? Just type in the data, plot it, and then do a linear (or whatever) fit; it'll give you the fit and how well it fits.

I cant imagine what your asking for exists, as there are infinite answers for any set, or no answers at all. are you talking elementry functions?

I agree with @zzr0ck3r - as you can see from http://oeis.org/ that entering a sequence will generate lots of ways of getting that sequence.
