Help? :l Look at the figure shown below. http://learn.flvs.net/webdav/assessment_images/educator_geometry_v14/pool_Geom_3641_1008_14/image0024e8caf21.jpg A student made the table shown below to prove that PQ is equal to RQ. Provide the missing statement and justification in the proof. B. Using complete sentences, explain why the proof would not work without the missing step.
I can do part b. I just need which triangle are congruent and why.
It wouldn't work for the mere fact that there is not enough given data to prove this is correct in my case though i would say it would work just because the 2 sides (pq and rq)... are similar just at a different angle but it is congruent just because the sides are similar and are just at a different angle like you are looking at the other triangle a mirror if you will....... but then again im only in 9th grade so if im wrong well..... i dont give a F*** not to be mean but i just dont so..... sue me ;)
Well it has to work silly. Or they wouldn't have made it a question(:
Jim is here to save they day!! <33
notice how we have SQ = TQ (line 1) RSQ = PTQ (line 3) and SQR = TQP (line 7) So we have one pair of sides and two pairs of angles
So it would be Angle-Angle-Side. But which triangles are congruent?
bleh forget it now back to my plan to steal santa presents and take candy from babies....
more like ASA, but AAS can be easily transformed into ASA (so they're basically the same)
triangle SQR = triangle TQP
by the ASA property of congruence
Okay I see. (: <3 thanks love.
the first "A" refers to the pair of S and T
the "S" refers to SQ = TQ
love lmfao is this a math site or a dating site rofl
the second A refers to SQR = TQP
It's a site where I do what I want, and you stop complaining about it. (:
k what ev c ;
^_^ Good.
and notice how that side is sandwiched between the two angles, so that's why I went with ASA instead of AAS
Yeah I know the difference. I just cant tell these triangles apart. There looks like there are tons of them in the figure thing.
ah, it might be better to try and draw the two separate triangles like so |dw:1345418149036:dw|
