My answer was: 1=4(6)+2 -The point isnt on the line.
Is my answer correct?

I'm sorry may21, but you are incorrect. Consider point A(1,6). Whenever you are given coordinates in parenthases like that, it always follows the format (x,y). So x=1 and y=6
