OpenStudy (trudy):

if f(x)={(3,5),(2,4),(1,7)} g(x)=(x-3)^(1/2) h(x)= {(3,2),(4,3),(1,6)} k(x)=(x^2+5) detrmine each of the following: 1.(f+h)(1) 2.(f o h)(3) 3.(kg)(x)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

(f+h)(1) is f(1) + h(1) = 13..I think f comp h (3) is 4 kg(x) = (x^2+5)(x-3)^(1/2) make sense?

OpenStudy (trudy):

How do you get 13 for (f+h)(1)

OpenStudy (trudy):

Ok,got the first two but still confused about \[(kg)(x)\])
