The two cars drove a combined total of 1700 miles, and the sum of their fuel efficiencies was 60 miles per gallon. What were the fuel efficiencies of each of the cars that week?

x= speed of car 1 or fuel efficiency of car 1 y= speed of car 2 or fuel efficiency of car 2 30x= distance car 1 drove 25y= distance car 2 drove 1700= total distance the 2 cars drove
