If g(x) = 2(x − 4), find the value of x if g(x) = 20.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

just equate 2(x-4) to 20 2(x - 4) = 20 divide both sides by 2 x - 4 = 10 ad 4 to both sides x = 14
