Maybe a silly question, but I am working on the final question in the "getting started" assignment (http://bit.ly/OJ7E97) and I don't know how to interpret the "^" in part four. Ordinarily, I'd think "raised to the power" but above that is "**". Anybody able to set me straight on this?

It has to mean "raised to the power of" as the question specifically includes the quadratic equation in the "Recall" section. I interpret it as just a bit of inconsistency in their notation for exponents. They used both ** and ^ to indicate the same thing. Good catch by the way, my eyes must have just glossed right over it when I went through that section.

Ok then, I'll give it a try under that assumption. Thanks.
