Question

AP Human Geography question: What is the best way to memorize the rivers and countries in Asia? I am terrible at memorization and we have to fill out a map as well as take a test on Friday. The test will be numbered points on a map with no list and no notes. I'm gonna fail!!! Tips?

Calm down first. If you tell yourself you fail, you WILL fail. Have some confidence. Take a break and then come back to it. No exceptions to anyone.

Ok. If you want a way to memorize the rivers and countries of Asia, use association. Use mnemonics to make it fun. Find a way to chunk it together- by that i mean associate information with each other.

The way i remember things is by writing it down a million times, so maybe you can use flash cards write the country on one side and have a picture on the other, then like @mblasa said you can use mnemonics and since i dont know you may be a great artist, but instead i would draw something of what the country resembles and use that to help remember the name.
