I have a question

OpenStudy (ash2326):

@B.R.M Please post your question:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you one sec please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk the easy stuff 2x-5y+=10 what is the slope if the line what are the intercepts

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Is this your question? \[2x-5y=10\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes sir

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Finding intercepts is easy for x- intercept, put y=0 and the value of x you get is the x-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can we do an example

OpenStudy (ash2326):

okay, supposedly I have 4x+8y=16 x intercept, put y=0 \[4x+0=16=>x=4\] so 4 or (4, 0) is the x-intercept similarly for y- intercept put x=0 Could you try now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for x intercept you add zero
