Find the measure of an angle whose supplement is three times its complement

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

let x be one angle and the suppllement be equal to y it says y is three times its complement so y = 3(90-y) y = 270 - 3y 4y = 270 y = 270/4 y = 67.5 since y is 67.5 and it is the supplement, then x would be 180 - y = 180 - 67.5 = 112.5 if my calculations are correct
