Greetings all. If you didn't see it, OpenStudy, Codecademy and MIT OpenCourseWare announced a new free MOOC (massive open online course) on introductory Python that will start on October 15. Learn more at: http://nyti.ms/Ou3ch7
Do you know, if I were to sign up, could I go through it at my own pace, or is there a strict schedule? or?
Thanks for this information, I look forward to MOOC
thepenguin: The course will be structured using an email list that will prompt participants to access resources and undertake activities in a loosely coordinated way over eight weeks. We will start a second email cycle halfway through the first, so if you find you are not keeping up, you can simply sign up for the next cycle of emails and catch the next wave of learners. If all goes well, we'll continue to run the email cycles as long as there is interest, so you can runt through as few or as many of the cycles as you need in order to complete. So the answer is: a little of both!
