It is budding after all, not a new combination of parents genome. It would seem that it starts off in the case of aphids, with one cell budding off that must be a totempotent cell. It grows into a new whole aphid. Or to put it more specific the new aphid has the same genome as the Parent. And usually a single asexual reproduction event results in just one organisms. Other times in yeast , ceriviceis microvisceraie, or whatever its latin name is: reproduces asexually by buddding also. the E. coli can reproduce exponentially, is the aphids budding reproduction method exponential, or just linear with it offspring What is the cell division moetic process, that produces the first cell , then budding and development of thenew aphid?
