be cause a letter of recommendation will give you a better chans at you geting in the college you would want go to so you do not get stuck at a bad college and it mite just get you in the one you was wishing to go to if you recommendation is good!

A resume and letters of recommendation are important because colleges can quickly and efficiently see who you are, what are your passions, and what kind of person you are in under 5 minutes. Which comes in handy especially when they have 5,000 applicants to go over. If there are 5 letters of recommendation that continually say what a caring, well-rounded person you are, colleges will know that the quality in said person spoken of is more likely to be true.
