OpenStudy (theviper):

Why \(\LARGE{\text{Convex Mirrors}}\) are used as a rear view mirror in Vehicles ???

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i do not know how to explain it "physics-ly" but usually when driving cars, the rear part of the car is far from the rear view mirror. If they were to use ordinary mirror there, it wouldn't be enough for a driver to see what's behind him (in detail), and this poses a trouble when he is driving in reverse. Thus, convex mirrors are used to make the rear view bigger. does that help?

Parth (parthkohli):

Convex mirror provide a clear and wide view. They basically make you see more in just a mirror.

Parth (parthkohli):

provides*

hmm... Thanx @lgbasallote @ParthKohli Btw @lgbasallote ur explaining is \(GOOD!!\)
