Solve x^2 +6x +9 = 0 by graphing I really need help with algebra

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it help to know that this is \(y=(x+3)^2\) ?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

graph x^2 + 6x + 9 by whatever method you want. Then, whichever x unit the graph crosses the x-axis, those are the solutions (in other words, the x-intercepts) does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't see how you would solve it graphically, you need to solve it algebraically to find the x-intercepts in order to graph it.
