The dockers bridge passes over the coast freeway. The freeway is 20 metres below the bridge and at right angles to it. A car travelling 50 km per hour on the bridge is directly above another car travelling at 100 km per hour on the freeway. Find how fast the cars will be seperating after 1 minute later.

Don't know if this will help... but this is what I got... Car on top: 0.833km/min Car at the bottom: 1.667km/min

umm the answer is 10.87 km/min and they didnt say about car on top or car on btm

Hmm.. All I did was just convert the speed of the top and bottom cars into minutes. 10.87km/min is really fast! :O I'll get back to you in a few hours. I'll have to consult my brother. lol.
