I'm having some trouble with: f(x)=7x+4/9x-2 f(-1) f(-x) -f(x) f(x+h)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(-1) just sub in x = -1 to ur equation f(-x) is just sub in x = -x... - f(x) is just negative ur equation.. f(x+h) is u replace x by (x+h)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be 7(-1)+4(-1) and so forth?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but why 4(-1).. when there is a x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the same with the denominator then divide?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u only substitute when there is a x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so 7(-1)+4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeap

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you
