just relate this to yourself. how will students learn about democracy. with an actual experience of council meetings? or by lectures in school? i would say the council meeting wouldn't really show much because it is only local, and to understand democracy you would have to look at local, national, and even global scales. so i would say being taught in school is better. Think of reasons why. you don't have to go with my opinion i was just telling you. and dont use "you" or "your" because it is not second point of view. i learned that when i got a letter grade off by putting you's all over a paper.
