need to write the following in scientific notation. Please HELP! :) 77,820

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you put tht in the deciaml form ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7.7820? or 77.820

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You want to imagine there is a decimal at the end then move it to the left so that there is one number in the tenth. So it will look like this: 7.7820 then you count how many places you moved which is four places. The answer is 7.782* 10^4 and it is the fourth power because that is how many times you moved the decimal.
