If the results of an experiment do not support the hypothesis, you ignore the results you quit the research in failure you change the data to make it support the hypothesis you make a new hypothesis and do another experiment

Yes. If you do an experiment to prove a hypothesis and it shows that your hypothesis was incorrect...so try another :)
