Find x and y intercept. Must be given as an ordered pair. (Honestly, I have no clue what to do I have not seen this in two years) 10x - 4y= -20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x-intercept where the line touches or crosses the x line, which means that the value of y=0; similarly, y-intercept is the where the line touches or crosses the y line, which means that the value of x=0; given these two, you should be able to solve the x and y-intercepts

Like I said... I have not seen this in two years. I have no clue. Can you give me an equation or something to work with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x intercept : put y = 0 ...you got x = -2 y intercept : put x = 0 you got y = 5

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Do I have to put this in y=mx+b format?

this will help http://www.purplemath.com/modules/intrcept.htm
