What is the lateral area of a triangular prism with base edges all equaling 4 feet and a height of 10 feet? 160 ft2 180 ft2 140 ft2 120 ft2

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Each lateral face is a rectangle with base 4 and height 10. So the area of one lateral face is 4*10 = 40 square feet There are 3 lateral faces. So the total lateral surface area is 40*3 = 120 square feet.
