1. A car that increases its speed from 20 km/h to 100 km/h undergoes ____________________ acceleration. 2. It usually takes more force to start an object sliding than it does to keep an object sliding because static friction is usually ____________________ than sliding friction. 3. In a closed system, the loss of momentum of one object ____________________ the gain in momentum of another object. 4. The universal force that is effective over the longest distances is ____________________. 5. As an object’s temperature increases, the ____________________ at which it radiates energy increases. 6. When a person plucks a guitar string, the number of half wavelengths that fit into the length of the string determines the ____________________ of the sound produced. 7. The law of reflection states that the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of ____________________ 8. The region where a magnet's force is strongest is at the_________________________. 9. is there a word bank?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no that is just what i think the answer is :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh well the seem right to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is 10 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so what do you think @NoelGreco

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o and "What is a medium?"

OpenStudy (shane_b):

The only answers I would disagree with are: #4 This should be gravitational. It may be the weakest of the four fundamental forces but it is still the most effective over very long distances. #9 I believe this question is asking where the lines begin (ie leave) the bar magnet...which would be the north pole. #10 Fossil fuels

thank you but how energy is conserved in a heat pump ?
