can we do the same things in Maple that we do in MATLAB? What is Matlab for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
Maple is more for typing in equations and getting answers to them, or for graphing difficult equations whereas Matlab I believe is more for computer programming. SO in matlab, you would create the program to prove what you are doing in maple.
