I think to complete the assignment you still need to do the interview.  What would you ask the characters?

We'll we sure didn't read the book. So the best thing to do would be to remember the book and the persona of the characters. You can ask about events that you thought they did something stupid, selfish, or why they did it. like hey Ishmael, why did you cross the road when the car was going 65 mph? just don't use you or your in your paper.
