For me, siblings are the closest people you should be next to your parents. You love your parents because they were the one who raised you, and brought you up. However, there will come a time when they will die and perish, yet you are still young, and still has many years of life to come. Your siblings are the closest to your parents that you could get. They are from the same flesh and blood as you. When your parents die, your siblings are the only ones you can come to, and count as parents. Your love for your parents transform into the love for your siblings.
