given a point (5, -5) on the terminal side of angle q, find the value of sec q, I am lost on this! can someone please help me

OpenStudy (phi):

yesterday you had the problem to find the sin q for the same point (5,-5) see that problem for the picture. sec q is the same as 1/cos(q) (flip it) so find cos(q) and flip it.

OpenStudy (phi):

the hypotenuse is sqrt(25+25)= 5*sqrt(2) cos(q)= adjacent/hypotnuse sec(q) is cos(q) flipped: hypotenuse/adjacent
