Example A: 2n + 3 = 13 Example B: n + 3 = 13 Which example is a one-step equation? How is solving a two-step equation like solving one-step equation? How is solving them different?

I'll give hints. For the first one, a one-step equation is literally... a one-step equation. Which of the two equations can be solved in one step? For the second one, I believe you can derive your own answer from solving each equation. Note the similarities and differences between the two. Do these two and... Wala! You have your answer.
