(GEOMETRY HELP) Triangle ABC is similar to triangle PQR. Which equation is correct?
in similar triangles,ratio of corresponding sides are equal... so,tell me which is the side opposite to angle A? and to which angle A is equal?
@hartnn I got 36
what is 36?? how can u get measure of any angle,when no information is given...?
@hartnn Whoops sorry I thought it was another question that I had that looked a lot like it. but R
ok,tell me which is the side opposite to angle A? and to which angle A is equal?
@hartnn R??
nopes,see the sign in the sign in angle A to which sign does it match in triangle PQR??
@hartnn whoa what is wrong with me, I meant to type P. I'm sorry I'm being so confusing! My mind is everywhere
right :) P is correct since angle A=P the sides opposite to these angle are corresponding so we take the ratio of a/p got this? now u find another such pair of congruent angles......
Ok! Yay!! haha I got that part. I'm gonna say C & R? :)
very good,so the ratio is c/r now since the triangles are similar,these ratios are equal so u get c/r=a/b got this?
sorry,c/r=a/p
Ohhh I get it now! I see it. Thank you so much :) I've never seen these before so this clears up a lot. I appreciate it.
your welcome :)
