Need Mayor Help!! Select an ordered pair from the choices below that is a solution to the following system of inequalities: -5x > 4 − 7y 3y − 4x > 18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-4, -5) (3, 4) (-1, 5) (1, -1) is the answer choice :(

hero (hero):

Hint: Plug the points into each inequality to see which one is true for both

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i Dont Know How to do this and its the last night to get these test's done :(!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hero :/.....

hero (hero):

So try the first point: (x,y) = (-4,-5) Replace the possible values for x and y into the inequalities: -5(-4) > 4 − 7(-5) 3(-5) − 4(-4) > 18 Simplify the above. If you can't compute that, I can't help you. If you were expecting someone to give you the answer, you're in the wrong place.

hero (hero):

If when you compute that, you find it isn't true, try the next point.

hero (hero):

If you don't understand what I'm talking about, find a tutor.
