Gareth was told that in his class 50% of the pupils join football club, 30% join video games club and 30% join mathematics club. If he was to choose a student from the class randomly, what is the chance that the student picked is neither member of clubs mentioned above? Is your answer make sense?

can the students pick more than one club? 50%+30%+30% = 110%
Ye of course. But you didn't answer the question.
ok for a person who isnt in any of them that means he's in the 50% of not in football it means he's also in the 70% of not in the videogame club and it also means he's in the 70% of not in the mathematics club
So what is the chance of that?
