OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is a heat pump plz tell

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know this is on my test =(

ChaCha Answer: Save heat energy by trapping and circulating air once it's heat.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not sure ask @yahoo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Save heat energy by trapping and circulating air once it's heated. Insulate every nook and cranny. Use ceiling fan circulation.

that is what i got of yahoo lol

look up on laws of thermodynamics :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As energy flows from a reservoir at high temperature to a reservoir at low temperature, some is converted to work and the rest is wasted.

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

This would be the case for a thermal engine. But in a heat pump, work input allows heat to be transferred from the cooler reservoir to the warmer. Hence: work provided + heat released by the cooler res. = heat received by the warmer res.

Oops... Wasn't paying attention.... opposite of what I said ;)

Thanks^
