OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you've paid attention, you'll see this is NOT the previous question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the previous one is x^2+3x^2>4x, which is miss typed

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

rewrite the inequality \[x^3 + 3x^2 - 4x > 0\] simplify by taking the HCF \[x(x^2 + 3x - 4) > 0\] factorise the brackets... they you will have 2 values of x... as solutions... you just need to test where the function is positive...(> 0)
