Satix is at a flea market. She wants to get the most knives at the lowest price. But she also wants to get at least one of each. The prices of the knives are: $ 4.30, $12.80, $11.50, $7.30, $ 7.50. If she has $50 to spend how much will her change be?

$6.60

OpenStudy (alexwee123):

well if she wants the most amount of knives and at least one of each then first add all the knives prices together so 4.30+$12.80+ $11.50+ $7.30+ $ 7.50 which would be a total of 43.4 so Satix has 6.6$ left but since she wants the most you would subtract 4.3 from the 6.6 so your answer would be $2.3

OpenStudy (alexwee123):
