i have a hard copy of the book 'vedic maths made easy' in which the description was given,i was searching its e-book now but could not find it....hard to explain in comments...

First step is to place 1 in the centre of 1st row. then go diagonally upwards to right and place next numbers........at any step,if u do not find any box there,go straight down to the end and place next number,this explains the position of 2. continue the process of going diagonally upwards to right whenever u can.... if u find that some number is already diagonally placed (upwards,right) ,then u put your number,just below it and continue the process.....till u reach the last number. I hope my explaination made some sense...
