Here's a drawing of part of the diagram: |dw:1345993986749:dw| CQ and PQ are the same length because we are dealing with a cube, but since we don't know what the length is let's call it x. We want to see if the length of CP is also x, because if it isn't that would mean that it wasn't the same distance away from P as it is from Q. Let's call the length of CP y. Can you use Pythagoras' theorem to work out what y is in terms of x?
