A. Lipids are used in membranes, no genetic info here B. Complex carbohydrates, make up sugars, we don't have DNA in here. C. Protein, circa 1900 was thought to carry our genetic information, unfortunately, we don't live in 1900. D. Nucleotide kind of sounds like nucleic acid to me... Now what sort of thing do we have in our cells that has some nucleic acids... Sorry for the sarcasm, D is the correct answer as DNA is a deoxyribose nucleic acid and carries the genetic information for cells.
