Does 9500 have a decimal?
no decimal on 9500
Here are the basic rules for significant digits: 1) All nonzero digits are significant. 2) All zeroes between significant digits are significant. 3) All zeroes which are both to the right of the decimal point and to the right of all non-zero significant digits are themselves significant.
Right, but for 9500 that is only 2 sig. fig. , so im confused how i would round that to 3. Do u have any ideas how i would answer that?
I don't have any ideas for that one. Seems like a trick question.

Found out from some sources that \(9500 = 9.50 \times 10^3\)
