A sample of biological origin was analyzed for its elemental composition and found to contain only carbon and hydrogen. Which type of macromolecule might it be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lipids contain the most carbon and hydrogen amounts of any macromolecules hands down. They may contain an oxygen atom or two but pretty much are just carbon and hydrogen while the others may contain other elements. For a detailed breakdown of the molecule structure of all the macromolecules you can go to the following link: http://faculty.clintoncc.suny.edu/faculty/michael.gregory/files/bio%20101/bio%20101%20lectures/biochemistry/biochemi.htm
