I'm writing a personal narrative and I need to come up with a title. My question is: Would it be appropriate to use a quote from the dialogue I intend to use in the paper itself, as the title? Thanks so much.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

as long as you dont include quotation marks. I, myself, use that kind of title often. I see it as a dramatic style. The title of my texts and the first line of my texts are usually the same. Although, I usually do that when the line is a question. But I think it works well with statements as well. Titles of lyrics are usually from a line in the lyric, after all. does that help?

Yes, very much! Thank you!

welcome

You certainly could do that. I would suggest doing so if you pulled a short, concise quote that was strong, and repeated (in idea, not verbiage) throughout the entire essay.
