How do i graph sin^-1 of x

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you dont seem to be interacting well with those that are trying to help you out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is my first timr using this and thanks for helping me earlier

OpenStudy (amistre64):

your welcome :) if you are unclear or need additional clarification to posts, feel free to ask them. This site thrives on the interactions between askers and helpers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so by interacting you mean talking to them while they help you?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yes. the real time data flow enables users to teach on a more personal level than static websites

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the sin^-1 graph is difficult to explain, its a chopped and rotated version of the sin graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ya i have to finish a packet for a class in school. So how exactly would it rotate?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

lets draw the basic sin x graph|dw:1346073838836:dw|

OpenStudy (amistre64):

we chop this at -pi/2 and pi/2 in order to retain a function when its rotated about the y/x line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so woud that make the graph turn sideways?
