there are more people on here so maybe someone will know.. What characteristics can be used to describe a landform. And how is a landform different from a place?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A landform is like a mountain or a hill. Something that wasn't "built". It is different from a place because a 'place' can be anywhere. It can be something man-made whereas a "landform" cannon be man made. I'm pretty sure this is what you are asking. Hope this helps :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait! i meant to put region instead of landforms!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A region contains several places in it. A place is probably intuitively know to you as a specific area or geographic location. An example of a place could be your house. A region contains several places, so a region would be in this instance your neighborhood, city, or state.
