Determine the equation of a line in slope intercept form using the given information. a) slope 5, containing the point (3, 2) b) containing the points (0, 2) and (2, 0) c) parallel to the line y= -2+3, containing the point (-2, -1) please answer either a,b, or c!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 things you need to know slope = m \[m=\frac{y_2-y_2}{x_2-x_1}\] slope intercept form- b is the y intercept \[y=mx+b\] and point slope form \[y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\] do you know how to do you problems now?

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for a), substitute your values into the point slope equation then solve for y or till you get slope intercept form b) find slope, then do the same method as a c)the slope of a parallel line is the same as the slope of the original line once you know that, do the same process as a

im aware they're 3 different questions, I just had a hard time understanding the question. I can better understand it now

do you still need help with this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not right now, no. Im working on it
