where can i find a chart showing how many shells each element in the periodic table has

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Periodic Table is itself just such a chart. The period in which an element lies tells you how many electron shells it has. All the elements in Period 1 have 1 shell, all those in Period 2 have 2, and so forth.

Be sure, however, that by "shells" you do not mean "filled shells" or "subshells," because if you did, the answer would be different.
