convert the decimal to a fraction 0.76 and i dont know how to do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

19/25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u show me how u came up with that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you get 76/100 and simply it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u give me steps so i can try to learn?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, well, if its 0.76 you put over a 100 since there are two decimals making that 76/100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then i divided both numerator and denominator by 2 to get 38/50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then i divided it again by 2 to get 19/25. 38/2 = 19 ; 50/2=25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow thanks that really helped me out
