There are two whole numbers, Number A and Number B. When Number A is divided by 10, the quotient is 10. When Number B is divided by 10, the quotient is 12. Which is greater, Number A or Number B? Explain how you divided. Can someone help me please, thanks. This is 5th grade problem.

according to remainder theorem \[A=10\times 10+r_1\]\[B=12\times 10+r_1\]which one is bigger?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops\[A=10\times 10+r_1\]\[B=10\times 12+r_2\]

B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

So explaining it wise, Number B is bigger because it is equal to 120 which is?
