Question

My teachers exact assignment says *Read and annotate (make notes and paragraph summarize 1-5 words each) "Dog Boy."* I have looked up the definition of annotation, but can anyone clarify if she meant anything different by what she said in ( )'s, that would be a big help. Also, if I'm not clear but you are interested in answering this question, feel free to ask me wtfluff I mean. Thanks :)

an annotation is a kind of writing wherein you get a copy of the text, and then write on it and comment *on* the text. Make notes, etc. If you want to contradict a certain statement, you write it down on the original text itself. It's like making a scratch paper out of a text lol.
