Identify the correct x intercept and y intercept of the equation 4x - 3y = 24. x intercept = (6, 0); y intercept = (0, -8) x intercept = (-6, 0); y intercept = (0, 8) x intercept = (-8, 0); y intercept = (0, -6) x intercept = (8, 0); y intercept = (0, 6)

plug your equations in here. Its a lifesaver! http://www.myalgebra.com/algebra_solver.aspx

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

@candrie yea but i need to find the intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the drop down box and select that

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

x = 6 and y = -8

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

so is it A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

assuming you dont have the internet to calculate intercepts you find the x intercept by substituting y=0 and you find the y intercept by substituting x=0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

Thank you!!
